Ingredients

  • Seedless black grapes – 1.5 cups
  • Water – 1/4 cup
  • Lemon – 1/2
  • Sugar – 1 tbsp
  • Salt – a pinch (to enhance the sweetness)
  • Ice cubes – 4 (for topping)

Directions

  1. Wash the grapes in running water and add the pods to a blender along with sugar, salt and water and make a smooth puree.
  2. Filter it through a strainer to remove fibers and skin.
  3. Add ice cubes to a glass if desired and transfer the juice and consume immediately. Delicious Grape Lemon Punch is ready to serve!

Notes

  • Always use seedless sweet grape for the best taste.
  • You can also add the lemon juice to the grapes while blending, make sure you don’t add the seeds
  • Do not store the grape lemon punch as the it would turn bitter.
  • Also, do not squeeze the lemon too much as it will make the juice bitter.
  • If using grapes with seeds, just pulse for few seconds and extract the juice; do not over grind.
  • If using sour grapes, reduce the quantity of lemon juice; just add 1/2 tsp of it.
